Tyson Foods officials announced that the company has completed a $90 million expansion of its chicken product processing plant in Forest, MS.

The expansion adds automation technology and manufacturing capacity, and will create more than 300 jobs, according to company officials.

“This project demonstrates our ability to execute a product mix change that translates into less intensive labor for team members while creating more jobs at a competitive pay structure,” said David Bray, group president of poultry for Tyson Foods. “It’s a win-win to support the long-term growth of the Forest community and our operations.”
