Flagship Food Group subsidiary Tortilla King said Thursday that an 18-acre site was purchased next to its existing production facility in Moundbridge, KS for a new Hispanic foods manufacturing site. The expansion project will support the firm’s Snack, Tortilla, and Frozen Foods business lines. 

Construction is underway on phase one of the project, which will lift Tortilla King’s flour tortilla manufacturing capacity by 25%. Additional expansion phases will add production capabilities for tortilla chips, snacks, and frozen foods.
