Powder & Bulk Solids highlights recent food and beverage manufacturing news you may have missed.
Food and beverage giant Nestle USA issued a voluntary recall for Nestle Toll House Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Fudge Filling products after several consumers alerted the company about the potential presence of white plastic pieces in the dough.
An announcement published on the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website Monday said Nestle USA is recalling products manufactured between June and September 2022, which were distributed in the continental US and in Puerto Rico.
Nestle is cooperating with the FDA as it carries out the recall. Those who have purchased the possibly contaminated Nestle Toll House cookie dough are urged to return the products to the place they were sold for a replacement or refund.
