Pet products manufacturer Mars Petcare is injecting $117 million into its manufacturing site in Fort Smith, AR to add two new manufacturing lines, upgrade equipment, and construct a new warehouse.

Work on the new lines and the 47,000-sq-ft warehouse is slated to reach completion in 2023.

The latest investment in the Arkansas facility comes after Mars Petcare revealed plans in January for a $145 million project at the site to install two new production lines and build 200,000 sq ft of additional space.
