Hosokawa to Host Common Food Ingredient Processing Webinar
Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems is presenting a food application webinar.

Rob Voorhees, president, Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems, is presenting a food application webinar on Wednesday, August 9 at 2pm. “Processing of Common Food Ingredients” will focus on processing common food ingredients.

Over the last 90 years, Hosokawa has conducted processing trials on thousands of food ingredients and installed hundreds of systems, including everything from ultra-fine milling of sugar and blending large batches of dry ingredients, to vacuum drying and sterilization of delicate spices. This webinar will focus on processing seven common food materials.

The webinar will include:
•    A discussion of processing of food materials
•    Histories of calcium, cocoa, corn, lactose, legumes, rice, and salt processing
•    Equipment and systems for processing food ingredients

Anyone processing raw ingredients or consumer-ready food materials should attend this webinar. Applications discussed during this webinar will focus on food processing systems, but could be helpful to any processing plant with size reduction, classification, mixing, drying, or particle analysis applications.

The webinar will be approximately 45 minutes long.
