American food firm General Mills is preparing to start a multi-million expansion project at its frozen pizza snacks production facility in Wellston, OH, according to a recent release issued by Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE).

Described as one of America’s largest frozen food manufacturing plants, the site produces Totino’s brand pizza snack products. During the expansion, General Mills will increase production capacity and work to boost efficiency.

As part of the project, the company intends to create a number of new positions to bring the facility’s headcount of full-time staff to about 900.

JobsOhio and Ohio SE offered General Mills a $1 million development grant to assist with construction, machinery, equipment, and infrastructure expenses.
