Gehl Foods LLC is seeking approval from the plan commission of Germantown, WI to expand one of its manufacturing facilities, the Milwaukee Business Times reported Monday.

If approved, the company intends to install up to 10 new silos, with each stainless and carbon steel silo built 14’ in diameter and 42 ft high. About 30 jobs would be created under the plan, the company said.

“These silos are required to support increased production within this facility,” the company’s project engineer, Stacy Cooke, wrote in a letter to Germantown authorities, the Times said.

Operating three plants in Germantown and one in West Bend, IN, Gehl Foods produces chips, sauces, puddings, ready-to-drink beverages, creamers, and other products.
