Food processing and packaging equipment maker tna solutions announced last Thursday that it has appointed Jonathan Rankin as its chief executive officer. The incoming executive will head the company’s operations and work to further new processes that improve tna’s efficiencies and growth.

Most recently serving as tna’s Chief Sales Officer (CSO), Rankin held a variety of management positions at the company from 1993 to 2003. He left the company and returned in 2019 to lead the firm’s global sales division. The executive worked as general manager at food processing firm Marel, where he aided in driving growth for its operations in Oceania.

“Over the last 36 years, we’ve added some truly amazing people to our team, gained a fantastic bunch of customers and established ourselves as a global leader on the snack food manufacturing market,” Alf Taylor, co-founder of tna and the firm’s managing director, said in a statement. “Jonathan celebrated some of our most important milestones with us and played an instrumental role in our growth. We were thrilled when he decided to come back and can’t wait to see just how much further he’ll take the business.”

The company provides equipment for confectionery, snacks, and fresh and frozen produce production and packaging to customers across the globe.
