Firefighters responded to the Purina Animal Nutrition feed mill in Caledonia, NY last Wednesday morning after a fire ignited in the facility, according to report by ABC News affiliate WHAM.

Crews were dispatched to the facility at about 8:15 a.m. and discovered flames in a wall upon arrival, the news broadcaster said. Several area fire departments responded. An investigation into the cause is underway. The plant reportedly resumed operations shortly after the incident.

A fire destroyed a Purina Animal Nutrition grain milling facility in Caledonia in 2014. The company invested $18 million to rebuild the plant and the new site was officially opened in 2017, coverage by Feed Navigator said.
