Workers were evacuated from a Pinnacle Foods Inc. processing plant in Fennville, MI Wednesday as crews from six area fire departments worked to extinguish the flames, several local news organizations reported.
Firefighters responded to the plant at about 4:50 p.m., finding the fire had broken out in a warehouse section, Fennville Fire Department Lt. Andy Cook told the Holland Sentinel. The crews were able to control the fire after about 20 to 30 minutes.
Officials told local Fox News affiliate WXMI that only the exterior of the structure was damaged in the incident. A handful of workers inside the facility were evacuated. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, news reports said.
