Health and nutrition solutions firm Royal DSM introduced a new integrated Food & Beverage business group Thursday that includes the ingredients and solutions of its Hydrocolloids and Food Specialties businesses and part of its Nutritional Products group.
“The food and beverage market is an increasingly exciting and dynamic space, so it’s a fantastic time for both the industry and DSM,” Patrick Niels, executive vice president, Food & Beverage for DSM, said in a statement. “This new organization will better serve our customers by providing one-stop-shop access to our full portfolio of food and beverage solutions – unleashing our full potential and cementing our position as a powerhouse for the food and beverage industry.”
The move is part of a reorganization initiative announced in September 2021 to create three market-focused business groups, including Food & Beverage, Health, Nutrition & Care, and Animal Nutrition & Health.
DSM said the Food & Beverage organization will help food and beverage manufacturers speed up product development to meet emerging customer and market needs.
