Baltimore, MD-based food manufacturer Tulkoff Food Products Inc. plans to open a new production facility in Cincinnati, OH to meet increased demand for its condiments, specialty sauces, dressings, and ingredients, the company said in a release Thursday. The project is also being initiated because of growth in Tulkoff’s private label and co-pack division.

“This is not only an opportunity to bring more jobs to the area, but it allows us to further expand our manufacturing capabilities and meet the demands of our private label and co-pack customers,” Tulkoff President and Chief Executive Officer Phil Tulkoff said in a statement. “We are running out of space and production time in our Baltimore, MD facility and I did not want to keep turning down customer opportunities for the growing private label and co-pack division of our business.”

A former food plant located on a 9.5-acre site in Cincinnati will be renovated to create 52,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and 7.300 sq ft of administrative areas. Tulkoff is creating 25 jobs to staff the site.

Tulkoff serves retail, foodservice, private lavel, co-pack, and industrial customers across the world.
