Crews were called to an equipment-related blaze at the Post Consumer Brands cereal plant in Battle Creek, MI on Wednesday, several local news organizations reported.

Fire crews responded to the Cliff Street facility the after receiving word of a fire in a hopper on the structure’s fifth floor at about 2:40 p.m., an account by Battle Creek-based radio station WNWN said. Upon arrival, firefighters determined flames spread from the hopper to a room on the roof.

Officials told television news station WWMT that the fire started in a cereal dryer before spreading to the rooftop room. Pipes in the room were linked to the cereal dryer.

No injuries were logged during the incident, according to coverage by the Battle Creek Enquirer. An investigation into the fire has been opened.
