Campbell Soup Co. Divests Pop Secret Brand

A better-for-you snack manufacturer, which owns Popchips, has acquired the brand and expanded its microwave popcorn category.

Campbell Soup Co. has announced the completed sale of popcorn brand Pop Secret to Our Home, an independent snack company.

The Pop Secret business generated net sales of approximately $120 million in fiscal 2024.

“This marks another step in our journey to strategically focus our Snacks portfolio. The sale of Pop Secret will drive greater focus and accelerated growth across our Snacks division and portfolio of leading brands," said Chris Foley, executive vice president and President, Campbell’s Snacks.

The CPG company acquired the Pop Secret brand in 2018 as part of its $6.1 billion acquisition of Snyder's-Lance.

In May 2023, Campbell's sold the Emerald Nuts business to private label CPG manufacturer Flagstone Foods.

Campbell Snacks business includes brands such as Pepperidge Farms, Cape Cod, Kettle Brand, Lance, Toms, Archway, Jay's, Snyder's, and some others.

Campbell Soup Co. acquired Sovos Brands, which pasta sauces, dry pasta, soups, frozen entrees, frozen pizza, and yogurt, in March 2024 for $2.7 billion, with no real snack brands included save for the frozen pizzas. Campbell also sold Noosa yogurt in June 2024.
