Firefighters were sent to the Frito-Lay production plant in Williamsport, PA the evening of August 10 after receiving a report of smoke in the structure’s ceiling, according to a statement posted to the Williamsport Firefighters Local 736 page on Facebook.

Sent to the scene around 10:20 p.m., crews arrived at the North Reach Road site to find flames in a ventilation system above a machine located between the roof and ceiling, officials said.

No injuries were reported during the incident, the Williamsport Sun-Gazette reported. No information was available on the impact of the incident on the location’s operations.
