A worker was injured after an explosion and fire Wednesday night in the bag house of 3D Idapro Solutions’ dehydration plant in Stanfield, OR, several local media outlets reported Thursday.

The city manager of Stanfield said in a report by local NBC News affiliate KNDU that the firm told him the event was a ‘dust explosion.’”

Officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation, the East Oregonian reported. Two additional fires have broken out at the site within recent months.

3D Idapro, based in Burley, ID, operates three facilities in the U.S. and processes potatoes and carrots for the pet food industry, according to the company’s website.

An employee was transported to an area hospital with injuries from the incident. Two scrubbers and some bags were burned in the incident, Fire Marshal Tom Bohm told the East Oregonian.
