Led by Alan Roberts, emeritus professor, founding director, Tunra Bulk Solids, University of Newcastle, Essentials for the Reliable Feeding of Bulk Solids will focus on the key factors that ensure successful metering and feeding.

· Importance of the feeding interface to maintain mass flow in bins
· Feeder and bin interfacing to minimize segregation, de-mixing and wear
Roberts has been involved in bulk solids handling for 50 years, and has been published widely in this field.
