Ingredient Masters introduces the Buzz Screw feeder, a compact, lightweight, and portable dispenser designed to bridge the gap between expensive automated screw feeders and laborious hand scooping of dry materials.

Using a simple cordless drill, the feeder dispenses most dry bulk materials quickly, precisely, and easily. The system is ideal for applications including lab adds, minor ingredient adds, and smaller scale batching operations and features an easy-to-clean design.

The Buzz Screw feeder is constructed with all food-grade materials and features a stainless steel screw auger. A hex nut on the Buzz Screw drive shaft accepts the socket of a cordless drill to drive the auger. The operator regulates dispensing speed through the speed of the drill to quickly meter out the bulk of material needed. A hand wheel on the Buzz Screw feeder is used for final precision to achieve target weight.

Available in two sizes, the Buzz Screw feeder 175 Series can dispense at a rate of up to 1.25 cu ft/min (dependent on material characteristics), while the 250 Series is capable of up to 3.45 cu ft/min.

It can be attached to a variety of surge hoppers including the full line of Ingredient Masters dispensers ranging in size from 8 to 175 cu ft. The modular design of the feeder allows for stand-alone, in-line, and carousel arrangements in addition to automated drive options.
