Charlie Ingram, Eriez vice president of sales and marketing, has been appointed president of the Process Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA) after serving as the association’s vice president.
 
Formed in 1960, PEMA brings together companies that supply equipment and systems used by process industries including but not limited to food, chemical, pharmaceutical, waste water treatment, paint and coatings, agribusiness, ceramics, metals, plastics, wood, pulp and paper, environmental, building products, and mining/minerals.
 
Ingram joined Eriez in 1994. Prior to that, he was manager of international marketing at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co., also serving as general manager of the company’s Canadian affiliate. His career also includes 10 years at Warner & Swasey, a machine tool manufacturer, where he rose to manager of product sales.

Ingram holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Denison University, and received a certificate in advanced management at the University of Tennessee.
 
He serves on the advisory board of Mercyhurst College’s Walker School of Business, the Sterling Technologies Inc. board of directors and the St. Vincent board of corporators. He also is president of the Erie Philharmonic board of directors, a Trustee Fellow of Denison University, and a member of Edinboro University President’s Advisory Council.
