The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) recently awarded fertilizer pellets manufacturer Calcium Products with tax benefits through its High Quality Jobs (HQJ) program to support the company’s $17.1 million investment in a new production plant and warehouse in Fort Dodge, IA.

An existing facility in Fort Dodge will be replaced with a 70,000-sq-ft structure to increase its capacity, according to a IEDA release. The project is expected to create two new jobs with a wage of $20.47/hr.

Its existing plant will be converted into a warehouse, coverage by the Fort Dodge Messenger News said.

Calcium Products is headquartered in Ames, IA.
