Webinar: Using the Combustible Dust Safety Cycle for Continuous Hazard Management

On Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 11 a.m. Eastern/8 a.m. Pacific, Chris Giusto, PE, Director of Industrial Projects and Combustible Dust Safety at Hallam-ICS, will present "Using the Combustible Dust Safety Cycle for Continuous Hazard Management" as part of Powder & Bulk Solids’ 2020 DryPro Webinar Series, taking place June 2-4, 2020.

Gisuto will discuss the four primary strategies for maximizing combustible dust safety in a facility. Intended for facility owners and operators, but equally valuable for anyone involved with combustible dust hazards, this webinar organizes and presents the four strategies as the “Combustible Dust Safety Cycle”. This presentation will explain the stages that make up the cycle, how they relate to and build upon each other, and how the cycle can be used as the foundation of a comprehensive combustible dust safety strategy.

Giusto works primarily with industrial facilities to improve processes & safety, reduce waste & energy consumption, increase flexibility & capacity, and build new facilities. He has nearly 20 years of mechanical engineering experience and leads Hallam’s Combustible Dust Safety Services offerings. He has spent three quarters of his career working with combustible dust hazards and designing NFPA-compliant equipment and systems. With additional expertise in material handling and dust collection systems, he brings a comprehensive approach to practical solutions for improving safety and meeting NFPA requirements.
