How to Meet the DHA Deadline During the Pandemic

Dr. Ashok Ghose Dastidar, VP, dust & flammability testing and consulting services, Fauske & Associates Inc., will present “How to Meet the Deadline for Your DHA During the Pandemic."

On Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 2 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Pacific, Dr. Ashok Ghose Dastidar is vice president, dust & flammability testing and consulting services, Fauske & Associates Inc., will present “How to Meet the Deadline for Your DHA During the Pandemic” as part of Powder & Bulk Solids’ free DryPro webinar series.

The deadline for completing your company's Dust Hazards Analysis (DHA) is fast approaching. A DHA is required for all new facilities or facilities that have had major renovations before initial startup. However, older preexisting facilities are also included in this requirement to have a DHA performed. The original three-year deadline for having these DHAs completed was September 7, 2018. Recognizing the monumental task ahead for many companies, the NFPA committee decided to give an extension until 2020. Although the deadline is quickly approaching, many companies have not yet started their DHAs. Furthermore, global pandemic shut down many facilities or access to them just as DHAs were beginning.

This presentation will offer strategies on how to meet the final deadline, given the limited access to facilities and experts.

Attend this webinar and learn:

* How you can expeditiously get up to speed and finish your DHA in a short amount of time
* What is required in a DHA
* How to use a "Checklist & What If" approach to perform a DHA
