Fike’s new Dual Flap Isolation (DFI) valve will be available in sizes up to DN800 and has been extensively tested under a multitude of real-world explosion conditions. The use of dual smaller flaps instead of one large flap makes the valve strong, compact, and capable of closing faster than other valves. DFI can be installed in nearly all piping geometries and hazard applications, close to the dust collector, and in vertical pipe sections, and is also suitable for applications with high explosion pressures, ST1 and ST2 combustible dusts, low MIE dusts, and light metal dusts.
