Did you know: It only takes 2-3 seconds to become helpless in flowing grain?

The Occupationa Safety and Health Administration offers five safety tips when handling grain.

The video, 5 Things to Know About Grain Safety, is a quick glimpse into product and human safety.

Grain handling facilities receive, handle, store, process, and ship bulk raw agricultural commodities such as corn, wheat, oats, barley, sunflower seeds, and soybeans.

For more about grain safety, OSHA provides a designated webpage for workers, companies, health and safety professionals, and others taking part in grain handling/processing. Visit the grain handling webpage here. The page goes into grain dust explosions, suffocation, and falls as hazards in a facility.
