Turbine Vibrators
The Model ATU line of turbine-style industrial vibrators operates with a low noise level of 62–78 dBa, which is well below OSHA standards. These vibrators can deliver over 1800 lbf to solve material flow problems. The ATU requires no lubrication and comes with a durable anodized aluminum finish, a 350°F temperature rating, an excellent power-to-weight ratio, and lower air consumption than comparable pneumatic vibrators. Because of their ultralow noise and high degree of application reliability, they are ideal for inside plant environments or anywhere a low-noise solution is needed. Industrial vibrators are commonly used to promote and maintain the flow and discharge of powder and bulk materials from bins, silos, and other storage vessels. They also aid in the movement of material in other applications and assist in the ejection of cast products from molds.

Piston Vibrators
QSI series piston vibrators deliver a single impulse on a timed cycle to promote material flow and prevent material buildup on hopper walls. They can be operated using a pneumatic or electronic timer, or PLC, and a solenoid valve to deliver a single impact on a predetermined schedule. Also, they can be activated manually as needed using a self-closing valve. They are suitable for a wide variety of applications. For customers currently using a standard single impulse or timed impactor, the QSI series models will provide a reduction in noise with only a minor decrease in force. For customers currently using standard impacting or quiet impact models, a QSI will reduce air consumption and energy costs while maintaining effective material flow. Three models are available: 1½-in. piston diam, 2¼-in. piston diam, and 2¼-in. long stroke (not pictured).

Stainless-Steel Electric Vibrators
These stainless-steel electric vibrators energize material, thereby reducing friction against container walls, as well as reducing internal particle-to-particle cohesion. The material moves more freely, feeds and compacts more effectively, sorts more consistently, and handles more easily. Cast AISI Type 316L stainless-steel casing is suitable for frequent washdowns and other tough industrial environments. Units are dust- and watertight and impact resistant with IP66 and IK08 ratings. Windings are trickle-impregnated or encapsulated to withstand vibratory forces. An adjustable eccentric weight allows a precise match to your operating requirements. The vibrators are available in various speeds (600–3600 rpm) and electric specifications.

Electric Rotary Vibrators
UV 110-V electric rotary vibrators are ideal for flow aid applications on small volumetric hoppers and many other light-duty applications. Electromechanical vibratory drives are completely sealed for dust-tight operation. The drives run quietly to help meet noise-level regulations and require no lubrication, thereby making them virtually maintenance free. Features include: universal voltage of 115 V, 1 phase, 60 Hz, 0.3 A, 24 W, operates at 3600 rpm; four adjustable-force output settings of 3.25, 6.5, 9.57, and 13 lb; stainless-steel end caps with O-ring seals; quiet operation; 40-in.-long prewired pig tail; and enclosure protection per IP66. They are suitable for washdown and can be used for nonhazardous dust applications.
