Wireless Systems Save on Level Sensor Installation

REMBE Introduces Q-Flap NX Explosion Isolation Valve

REMBE Inc. introduces the Q-Flap NX inlet explosion isolation valve to prevent explosion propagation through ductwork. This improved version features magnets that hold the flap open and significantly reduces the pressure drop across the valve. This change now means that the suction from the dust collector only moves the product. This saves energy since fans require less horsepower and product flow is improved by the dramatic reduction in pressure drop.
Schenck Process Introduces ProFlex C100 Feeder

The new ProFlex C100 by Schenck Process is the smallest of the ProFlex C family and fits on small extrudes. It is lightweight and up to five feeders can be grouped around an inlet of a lab or small size extruder. A quick-change hopper option in the ProFlex line offers fast and clean changeover without disassembling of the feed screw. By keeping several hoppers and the screw in stock, a wide range of additives and color pigments can be provided for in a highly flexible manner.
Parker Hannifin Launches New Cartridge Filler

Admix Introduces Lab Scale Inline Mixer

Admix Inc. announced the release of its DynaShear model DS-215 lab scale inline sanitary mixer and emulsifier. The DS-215 is ideal for small scale inline processing, product development, simulation, and scale-up. With the DynaShear model DS-215, processors and laboratories will be able to take advantage of predictable, repeatable results from the lab to full production. The inline lab mixer is affixed to a mobile cart and is also equipped with VFD controls for more accurate scalability.
