Dust Caps
Dust Caps prevent the problems of material accumulation and corrosion at the base of conveyor structures. The buildup of fugitive material on the floor or ground around belt conveyor supports creates a mess, as well as a potential fire hazard. These buildups also capture moisture, leading to the corrosion and weakening of the conveyor structure. Installed on the legs of the conveyor, these dust caps prevent these material accumulations. Made from accumulation-resistant molded polyurethane, they are pyramids that cause the material to fall away from the conveyor foot, and thereby making it easier to collect dust and clean it by washing down or sweeping around the conveyor. The caps are orange for improved visibility, are available in 3- and 4-in. sizes (and metric sizes) to fit the structural steel angles used in conveyor construction, and can be installed on new or existing conveyor systems.

Microwave Point-Level Switch
The ProGap II noninvasive microwave point-level switch consists of a transmitter and receiver mounted opposite each other. The unit transmits a 25 GHz beam across to the receiver. As the material breaks this beam, a relay is activated once the sensitivity threshold and delay time have been achieved. Utilizing the process adapter, the system is contactless, thus enabling installation in bunkers, ducts, shafts, or free-falling stretches. The sensors can be removed at anytime without holes in the vessel wall to disrupt the process. Common applications include high-level silo alarm and dosage of fluff in a cement plant. The unit is available in two ranges: 13 and 59 ft.
