Gravity Conveyors
Easy to use and maintain, the Air Shoot safely moves dry, fluidizable materials on a low-pressure, air-activated gravity conveyor. Materials-including cement, fly ash, hydrated lime, and PVC resin-move through the shoot in a near-horizontal plane with little change in elevation, ideal for spaces where minimal vertical height poses obstacles. After the material dispenses into the shoot, gravity and a supply of blower air quickly transfer it to the next location at a shallow angle of flow. Support grating and a clean air plenum within the conveyor work to ensure quality and limit waste.

Dense-Phase Pneumatic Conveying Systems
These dense-phase pneumatic conveying systems utilize small amounts of high-pressure, low-velocity air to gently transfer controlled “slugs” of dry powdered or granular materials through enclosed convey lines. These systems are ideal for abrasive, fragile, friable, or mixed-batch materials. In addition, they reduce component wear and minimize product breakage, degradation, and segregation. Exclusive Air Assist technology enhances system efficiency by injecting air via assists that are strategically placed along the convey line, reducing overall resistance and lowering air pressure requirements.

Custom-Designed Pneumatic Conveying Systems
These systems move dry, granular materials gently and reliably, reducing product degradation or system wear. Each system is custom-designed to achieve the optimum performance characteristics at the highest efficiencies. The company has developed 16 different pneumatic conveying concepts, utilizing both pressure and vacuum, for handling a wide variety of dry bulk solids.

Vacuum Conveyors
C-series vacuum conveyors are ideal for handling ingredients such as cocoa, sugar, powdered drink mixes, vitamins, and coffee beans. Powered by pneumatically driven vacuum pumps, these systems safely and quietly transport up to 10-15 tn/hr of powders and granules in virtually any manufacturing or processing environment. They are made of AISI 316L stainless steel and can cope with the most demanding environments. The filter design can trap particles down to 0.3 microns and can be equipped with a HEPA filter. The design of the new conveyor improves vacuum-assisted flow by 25% without affecting energy consumption. The C-series is available in 21-, 33-, and 56-cm diameters.

Dense-Phase Pneumatic Conveying System
A key feature of this dense-phase conveying system is the exclusive air management system. By using a pressure control regulator, airflow control orifice, and bypass valve, total airflow to the system and the product-to-air ratio (the combination of airflow and convey rate) are automatically controlled at the vessel. When airflow and product-to-air ratio are not controlled accurately, boosters or trace air lines are required. Not only are these components expensive to purchase and install, but they also add air to the system. Added air creates higher energy requirements and increased line velocity. This system saves money, allows easy access because all controls are located on the pot, and is easy to install.

Dilute-Phase Conveying Pump
The Screwveyor pump is a heavy-duty, dry-material injection pump designed to feed dry, pulverized material into a pneumatic convey line. It utilizes conveyed material to form a seal. An integral gate prevents blowback when priming or running empty. The pump eliminates blowback and early failure from abrasive wear.

Conveying System
The patented Stinger conveyor is ideal for transferring difficult-to-handle products, working best on cohesive products such as pigments, carbon black, talcs, clays, and sterates. It uses TransFlow technology to precisely control the convey air and condition the product. This causes difficult-to-handle products to move in the conveyor pipe. The conveyor with a bulk bag unloading frame enables users to unload and transfer TiO2, carbon black, and other hard-to-handle products reliably over distances of 100 ft horizontally, 30 ft vertically, and through several elbows at rates up to 80,000 lb/hr.

Bulk Bag Unloader for Pneumatic Conveyors
The BFF-series (forklift load) bulk bag unloader has a non-flow-through pickup adapter for multiple pneumatic convey lines. The Tele-Tube telescoping tube raises a Spout-Lock clamp ring that seals the clean side of the bag spout to the clean side of the telescoping tube, exerting continuous downward tension as the bag empties and elongates, promoting flow while containing dust. A Power-Cincher flow control valve cinches the spout concentrically for easy leakproof tie-offs, while a Bag-Vac dust collector creates negative pressure within the dust-tight system to collapse empty bags dust-free prior to retying and disconnection. Flow-Flexer bag activators raise the bottom of the bag into a steep V shape, promoting complete discharge.

Pneumatic Vacuum Conveyor
MiniVac pneumatic conveyors are an economical method to convey a wide range of powders and bulk solids for the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and general manufacturing industries. A Teflon interior surface treatment option in the unit activates when materials such as pigments flow sluggishly, greatly increasing product flow potential. Food-grade or sanitary finishes are available.
