Equipment from Former Oscar Mayer Plant Goes to Auction

Industrial liquidators Rabin Worldwide and Reich Brothers will hold a three-day live and online auction this December to sell a variety of processing and packaging equipment from the now-shuttered Oscar Mayer plant in Madison, WI.

Taking place Dec. 6-8, eight floors full of processing and packaging equipment, including mixers, grinders, and blenders, screw conveyor loaders, MTC vat dumpers, are going to auction.  A range of general plant and facility equipment and production support equipment is also available.

“It will be an opportunity to buy high-quality equipment once used by the best in the business,” said Richard Reese, president and chief executive officer of Rabin, said in a press release announcing the auction.

A preview is available on Dec. 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment. The live auction will take place at the plant site at 910 Mayer Ave. in Madison.
