Vibratory Screener with Batch Hopper Feed Control
This three-in-one system combines a Vibroscreen vibratory screener, a batch hopper, and an integral feed control device that regulates the flow of material into the screener. The system is intended for applications that require screening in batches. The feed control device consists of a circular disk positioned below the flexible connector at the screener’s inlet, perpendicular to the flow of material. The diameter of the disk is smaller than the inside diameter of the inlet, forming an annular gap through which material can pass. Because the disk vibrates with the screener lid to which it is affixed, the flow of material through the gap remains uniform. Interchangeable disks in a range of diameters are provided to achieve various feed rates.

Moving-Floor Conveying System
Used to meter a range of materials, the patented Walking Floor system can be installed in a trailer to provide the flexibility to unload at a variety of sites. No tipping mechanism is needed. The system can be used to unload material near or inside buildings and in areas where trees or overhead power lines pose hazards. Stationary systems are custom engineered and can be flush mounted, installed above ground, placed in a pit, or secured to an existing pad. The foundation of the system is a series of reciprocating floor slats that are powered by a hydraulic system. The four-phase cycle conveys the material for unloading or loading. Aluminum or formed-steel slats extend the length of a trailer or bunker floor. Floor slats ride on low-friction bearings that are fastened to a subdeck. The drive unit is mounted underneath the floor for easy access. Slats are attached to the drive unit’s cross-drives. Hydraulic cylinders move the cross-drives, which in turn move the floor slats. Power to the drive unit is provided by a tractor-mounted power takeoff and hydraulic pump or a hydraulic power unit.

Rotary Valve
Featuring an aluminum hard-coated housing and a stainless-steel rotor, this rotary valve is designed for use in gravity or pneumatic conveying applications for plastic pellets and other granular products. Valves are available in a medium-pressure version with a differential pressure of 15 psi. Valves are available in sizes from 4 to 20 in. for capacities up to 90 t/hr. Features include a patented antishearing device, double-lip seals with seal purge connections, an integrated leakage air vent design for best filling efficiency, and a closed-end rotor. It has a long life because of its hard-coated housing interior.

Sanitary Rotary Batch Mixer
The Model 700-TH-40-SS sanitary rotary batch mixer gently blends batches of ingredients in parts as small as one per million with 100% uniformity in less than 3 minutes, evacuates 100% of the batch, and can be sanitized rapidly with no tools. It is designed with a retractable inlet for rapid, thorough washdown, a stationary discharge, and a rotating drum with proprietary mixing flights. The mixing flights tumble, turn, and fold material gently, imparting minimal energy to the batch while achieving 100% uniformity in 2 to 3 minutes, regardless of disparities in the bulk densities, particle sizes, or flow characteristics of batch ingredients. The mixer has a usable batch capacity of 40 cu ft, total capacity of 80 cu ft, and weight capacity of 4000 lb.

Wye Line Diverter
The patent-pending Quantum-series wye line diverter is specifically engineered to handle dry bulk solids in vacuum or dilute-phase pneumatic conveying systems with pressures up to 15 psig (1 bar). It provides a number of advantages over traditional flapper and rotating tunnel-style diverters. Trouble spots inherent in conventional diverters are eliminated, providing superior sealing, low installation weight, fast in-line maintenance, and an abrasion-resistant design for long-term service.

Aggregate Dryer and Cooler
The Ventura 130 is a new fluid-bed dryer and cooler design that can deliver the same drying capacity as a standard fluid-bed dryer while using a fraction of the energy. Almost all latent heat is captured and reused. In most applications of 4% moisture and above, the unit uses approximately 1200 Btu/lb of water evaporated or less. The higher the input moisture, the lower the amount of energy used per pound of water evaporated. This energy use is at least 60% lower than that of a typical rotary dryer system and at least 35% lower than that of other fluid-bed dryer systems.
