Easy-to-Install Heat Exchangers

As pneumatically conveyed product sits in storage, condensation can cause caking, clumping, mold and mildew. When a product is conveyed with hot air from a pressure blower, it heats up. That increase in temperature causes evaporation of some of its initial moisture content (the product "sweats"). Solving the problem doesn't require costly dehumidification equipment; simply cool the conveying air, so it doesn't heat the conveyed product, and the cycle of evaporation and condensation is prevented.

Xchanger’s AA Series heat exchangers are an easy-to-install, efficient way to prevent product from being heated in pressure conveying systems. They are designed to cool the conveying air close to ambient temperature, using an aluminum plate-fin core with alternating finned flow channels. Models include TEFC 230/460 VAC, three-phase motor and a heavy-duty cooling fan.
