Dust Collector Explosion Protection

Fenwal-IEP Technologies offers a variety of explosion protection solutions for dust collectors. With both active and passive products, including venting, suppression, and isolation, the company can provide a way to mitigate explosion risks, meet the requirements of NFPA 654, and ensure minimal disruption to daily operations. The PistonFire II suppressor is used for both explosion suppression and chemical inlet/outlet isolation. Passive isolation products include the ProFlapPlusII flap valve and Ventex valve, and high-speed slide-gate valves for active isolation. Using these products along with explosion relief vents (including flameless) and explosion detection components and control systems provides a range of options for your application.
