Coupled with Dura-Life "Twice the Life" filter bags, the LP baghouse dust collector is a high-efficiency reverse air collector. The main advantage of the unit is its cleaning arm, manufactured with a flow-stop plate, which keeps air from flowing through the filter bags immediately after to minimize dust re-entrainment on the clean bags. Other benefits include: integrated helix in hopper reduces dust holding on filter bags; single inlet, outlet, and hopper reduces ducting and hopper outlet costs; requires no compressed air; and optional live-bottom hopper grinds dusts to prevent bridging in the hopper.
