Anna Bain Ladt Slater, Chairman of PEBCO Inc., announced the appointment of David L. Finke to the position of president and chief operating officer of the Paducah, KY-based company.

Finke has a 27-year history with PEBCO, serving in various roles in sales, international sales, engineering management and purchasing. His latest role was senior vice president of the company. Finke was originally hired by PEBCO’s founder, Carroll Ladt.

“Dave Finke has contributed in very positive ways over the years,” said Slater. “He is able to solve problems that are often experienced in the mining, ship-loading, and train-loading industries by coming up with unique solutions for our customers. It makes perfect sense for Dave to lead the entire company.”

“I am very excited and honored to continue to drive PEBCO’s business forward as an international leader in bulk material handling equipment,” said Finke.

Tom Slater has stepped aside as president of the company and will continue on as lead board member and CEO.
