Nilfisk Expands Sales Department, Launches National Accounts Program

Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums, a division of Nilfisk-Advance Inc., named Scott Boersma as its new business development manager for national accounts. Boersma works directly with corporate health and safety contacts to create custom dust control plans that meet the needs of each national account customer and its facilities.

Boersma started his career with Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums in August 2009 as district sales manager for the upper Midwest region of the U.S. In 2011, Boersma was named Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums salesman of the year after consistently growing his territory and breaking the all-time sales record for a single territory.

Nilfisk welcomes Terry Oelkers as the new district sales manager for the upper Midwest region, including IL, WI, MN, IA, ND, and SD. Oelkers is responsible for supporting customers with facility assessments, product demonstrations, and comprehensive maintenance recommendations.

Oelkers brings more than 20 years of sales experience with his most recent role as director of sales of the Hazmat Division of Minuteman International. Oelkers received his Bachelor of Science degree from Winona State University of Minnesota.
