Model XA extraction arms enable more effective suction due to their obstruction-free internal design and large bell-mouth hood. The large aluminum hood features 360° of grip area for optimal placement at the source reducing the amount of contaminants entering the worker’s breathing zone. The hood pivots independently of the arm for ease of positioning during operation and tension can be adjusted for each joint of the extraction arm for better control. The extraction arms are offered in 6- and 8-in. diam with available lengths for each of 7, 10, and 12 ft. They ship fully assembled for minimized set-up time and are available for use with exhaust blower packages, central ducted exhaust ventilation and filtration systems, and a comprehensive array of UAS filtration equipment solutions. Optional features such as an arc sensor, hood mounted on/off switch, and hood light kit are available on the Model XA extraction arms to meet specific operational requirements.
