Midwesco Filter Launches Sustainability Initiative

Midwesco Filter Resources Inc., a manufacturer of industrial air filtration equipment, has announced the Midwesco Sustainability Initiative. The Sustainability Initiative is an extension of Midwesco’s ongoing mission to provide new filtration technology that creates a sustainable future for generations to come. The “Buy Our Filter...Protect the Future” marketing campaign will run from March 2010 through January 2011. This initiative will allow customers to join Midwesco in protecting natural habitats and environments as well as furthering education to develop new “green” technology.

“We wanted to create a program that is different from the norm, but one that also reflects the values of Midwesco and of its customers – to protect our future for generations to come,” said Keith Ogilvie, Midwesco’s senior vice president. To set the precedent of creating a sustainable future, a portion of every order that is placed with Midwesco in 2010 will be donated to non-profit organizations in an effort to fight against climate change. A press release and a certificate will be drafted to our customers recognizing them for their partnership in Midwesco’s sustainability initiative. The press release will be posted on Midwesco’s Web site, as well as given to the customer for their use on their Web site.

A second part of Midwesco’s Sustainability Initiative is a team of in-house engineers that will work with environmental engineers and the EPA to implement a sustainability program for customers for the prevention and protection of the environment. Midwesco will provide technical experience and innovative technology to redesign customers’ production processes and products to eliminate the release of toxic materials and thus protect local natural habitats and environments.
