Sly Inc. has acquired a new Whitelegg ring machine for its tubular bag retainer cage manufacturing line at its Mississippi plant. The new ring machine is now in operation helping Sly to control quality, improve lead time, cut costs, and expand future growth potential for the manufacturing of additional dust collector cage diameters used by other manufacturers of industrial dust collectors.

Sly currently manufactures dust collector cages in the two most common cage diameters for baghouse dust collectors, 4½ and 5 5/8 in. Both diameters are available in top- and bottom-loading styles. Sly top-load cages are available with either a 6- or 3-in. venturi, or can be offered without venturis. Bottom-load cages feature a "split collar" for connection to a hub. Sly cages are available in galvanized, 304, and 316 stainless steel. Current manufactured cages fit many different brands and models of industrial dust collection equipment.

Currently, Sly manufactures cages for its new collectors, replacement cages for end users, and for other dust collector OEMs for use with their new equipment. All products are manufactured in the U.S.
