New conductive media for the PulsePleat product line helps customers gain production efficiencies and manage static-electricity risks in their baghouses. The upgraded filtration media is suitable for use in dust-collection system applications handling conductive, insulative dusts and powders where customers have determined static electricity may be a concern. The media provides surface conductivity equal to or less than 1 M?/square as determined per ASTM D-257. It conforms to the FDA’s food contact guidelines per 21 CFR 177.1630 and helps prevent product contamination. PulsePleat elements are engineered with increased surface area and able to provide greater filtration performance, reduced operating costs, and longer service life than traditional filtration systems.
