The AirSafe 2 monitors dust concentration in control system areas, silo areas, boiler houses, dust collector areas, or workstations. It alarms if dust levels get too high to create an explosive or unsafe breathing environment.
The AirSafe 2 uses electrodynamic sensor technology to measure the dust flow through the square duct. It will also alarm on fan failure. An optional 4-20mA output allows the user to trend dust levels in a given area. The system is pre-calibrated to alarm at 25 mg/cu m of dust but can easily be changed to accommodate the end-user requirements.
