This comprehensive course will be held January 26-29, 2016 at the Bulk Solids Innovation Center in Salina, KS, and will cover various topics related to bulk solids, pairing classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training.

•    Particle characterization and caking
•    Feeders and mechanical conveying
•    Bulk solids flow in bin, hopper, and chute
•    Particle segregation and solutions
•    Material handling equipment design
•    Dilute and dense phase pneumatic conveying
•    Discrete element method to solve flow problems
•    Instrumentation, valves, and PLC control used in bulk handling
•    Solid gas separation technique
•    Dust explosion
