RF Drying System for Temperature-Sensitive Materials 5351

The Macrowave RF conveyorized drying system is used for rapidly drying temperature-sensitive materials such as filter cake, granules, powder, or pelletized material. The system employs volumetric heating that keeps the temperature uniform throughout the load, reducing moisture content to levels as low as 200 ppm. Long dwell times required by conventional surface heating methods are eliminated. This conveyorized RF drying system may be a suitable replacement for tumble, spray, tray, spin flash, and belt/tunnel dryers. Rapidly removing moisture from material at bed depths up to 6 in., the Macrowave RF drying system typically requires one-fifth the floor space of conventional dryers, reducing energy costs.
