Readco Kurimoto LLC has extended its rental program to include its SC processor (SCP) line of continuous processors.

Offered as a month-to-month lease, the SCP rental program enables food, chemical, plastics, and other processors to test the drying and cooling systems with their materials and formulations in actual operating conditions and validate their processes while hidden on-site at their own facilities. The rental program includes confidential, on-site supervision by a Readco process engineer, and upon completion of the testing, up to 60 days of the rental period payments may be applied towards the purchase of the processor.

The SC processor heat transfer system is used for drying, cooling, reacting, crystallizing, degassing, solvent recovery, and for other processes in uninterrupted, 24/7 operation. Continuously accepting a wide range of powders, liquids, slurries, and/or wet cake at the same time, the SC processor creates a consistent material flow towards discharge with a self-wiping action that yields a homogeneous end product and meets target specifications in a single step. The custom-engineered systems may be rented at monthly rates of approximately 2-5% of the purchase price, along with custom terms designed to suit the needs of the customer.
