Italvacuum (Turin, Italy) introduces the LaboDry Model ES-2 laboratory vacuum tray dryer.
The LaboDry ES-2 has a chamber volume 1.8 cu ft and a total useful drying surface of 3.2 sq ft. The Model ES-2 includes two independent product “cells” with heated/cooled shelves that allow for drying under two completely different vacuum conditions.
The LaboDry Model ES-2 can be a skid-mounted turn-key system with an integral vacuum pump and heat transfer system on board.
Available materials of construction include stainless steel types 304, 304L, 316, 316L, Hastelloy, and other alloys.
The Model ES-2 can be supplied with Italvacuum’s Saurus piston-type vacuum pump that can produce an ultimate vacuum level of 0.03 millibar, or the dryer can be used with other conventional vacuum pump technologies.
The Model ES-2 joins Italvacuum’s line of pilot and production fixed-shelf and extractable-shelf vacuum tray dryers in capacities up to 184 cu ft.
