Spectrum Chemicals & Laboratory Products Adds New Distribution Facility in NJ

Spectrum Chemicals & Laboratory Products has announced the opening of its latest facility in New Brunswick, NJ. This is the company’s seventh addition to locations in the U.S. and China, all committed to providing quality fine chemicals and laboratory products to customers. This new facility is a few steps from Spectrum’s existing facility in New Brunswick. The new site will accommodate the company’s growth and expand its ability to service the growing customer base on the East coast.
“Opening of the new facility in New Brunswick will ensure Spectrum strengthens its logistics platform to support continued growth within the chemical and laboratory products industry,” said Mark Hurd, president of Spectrum Chemicals and Laboratory Products. The new distribution facility brings the site total to over 100,000 sq ft situated on 10 acres, and will provide next-day and other air and ground shipping solutions.
Founded in 1971, Spectrum Chemicals & Laboratory Products is a manufacturer and distributor of fine chemicals and laboratory products. It offers 15,000 active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical excipients, biochemicals, nutraceuticals, cosmetic ingredients, chemical solutions, and critical solvents like dehydrated ethyl alcohol in laboratory and production quantities. Spectrum also distributes nearly 80,000 laboratory supplies and equipment items from over 200 manufacturers including Sartorius, Mettler-Toledo, Julabo, Corning, Jencons, IKA, Caframo, Nalge Nunc, Hanna, Kimble, Microflex, ThermoFisher, and LabChem.
