MFG Chemical Moves Headquarters to Tennessee

Specialty and custom chemical manufacturer MFG Chemical announced Wednesday that its headquarters was moved from Dalton, GA to a new site in Chattanooga, TN. The company said the relocation was initiated because it outgrew its former head office.

“Our executive, finance, human resources, and sales teams will relocate to the new headquarters in nearby Chattanooga,” said MFG Chemical CEO and President Paul Turgeon in a release. “Our three Georgia manufacturing plants, including R&D, Customer Service, and EHS&S, will continue their current operations in Dalton, which is only 25 miles from Chattanooga… so we are still close to operations.”

The company started operations in Dalton in 1980. After the business diversified into a range of markets, MFG Chemical acquired a 26.7-acre plant in Pasadena, TX in 2017.

MFG’s headquarters is now located in the Liberty Tower in downtown Chattanooga, providing additional workspace to support the company and an ideal location near the city’s airport.

A multi-million-dollar upgrade project at MFG Chemical’s three plants in Dalton is currently underway.
