Koch Industries-owned polymers and chemical intermediates manufacturer INVISTA announced Wednesday that construction on a adiponitrile (ADN) retrofit project at its Victoria, TX facility remains on schedule for its planned completion date in early 2021. 

The company said it expects most of the work to wrap up this year before final tie ins are installed during a regularly scheduled maintenance outage next year. During the outage, additional AND will come online, according to the INVISTA.

As the project moves forward during the COVID-19 pandemic, INVSITA said the construction team Is following guidelines from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local authorities. 

On Thursday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott temporarily halted the state’s plans to reopen as it faces a new uptick in coronavirus cases.
