Firefighters and a HAZMAT crew were sent to the Nutrien Ag Solutions fertilizer plant in Leoti, KS after a blaze broke out at the facility Tuesday afternoon.

Flames ignited at the North 4th Street location at about 3:30 p.m. Officials ordered evacuations for people living inside a half-mile radius of the plant, NBC News affiliate KSNW reported. Fire Chief Charlie Hughes told the station that flames were isolated to a forklift and nonhazardous chemicals.

No injuries were logged during the incident, a spokesperson for Nutrien Ag Solutions said in coverage by the Associated Press (AP).

The evacuation order was later withdrawn.

Powder & Bulk Solids reported in early March that a fire ignited and burned through 1.7 million lb of sulfur at the Nutrien Ag Solutions fertilizer plant in Sunnyside, WA. Homes and businesses were also evacuated in that incident.
