A fire broke out Monday afternoon at the T&R Chemicals production plant in El Paso, TX, drawing a response from several fire departments in the area, local news organizations reported.

Some occupants of homes near the Cellum Road plant told ABC News affiliate KVIA that they heard a loud explosion-like boom when the fire started. Firefighters said in the station’s coverage that a semi-truck was possibly involved in the blaze.

Crews from three fire departments worked to bring the fire under control, news broadcaster KTSM said. Officials are investigating the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported during the incident.

T&R Chemicals is a producer of pine oil, dipentene and other derivatives, pine oil soap formulations, and other products, according to information on its website. The company was previously known as Turpentine and Rosin Factors Inc.
