The dry processing and bulk solids handling industry’s leading biennial event serving an essential community of engineers, scientists, and equipment manufacturers, the International Powder & Bulk Solids Conference & Exhibition (Powder Show), recently launched the Emerging Engineers Program.

The forward-looking initiative bridges a gap in the industry between early-stage career engineers and industry veterans with demonstratable experience, offering a breadth of resources in support of the new generation of engineers.

Launching at the upcoming Powder Show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, August 24-26, the program is strategically designed to utilize the liveliness of the event to facilitate connections through essential education and defined meetups, plus additional experiential opportunities that will drive engagement between new entrants and senior leaders in the sector.

“iPBS has been a cornerstone of the powder and bulk solids community for 45 years,” said Steve Everly, group event director. “As such, the event brand has built a strong connection with the engineers, thought leaders, and innovators that have shaped the industry as we know it today. Our aim with the Emerging Engineers Program is to harness this deep pool of resources and create a welcoming environment for those kick-starting their career, facilitate knowledge sharing, and build the future of this industry.”
